Child-Centered Approach
I make sure the child feels safe, can settle into the examination at their own pace, and that we build communication based on trust.
From the newborn period to adolescence, I look at your child as a whole: not only through illness, but through growth, development, nutrition and needs. I care about standing by your family on this journey with an approach that is tailored to each child, grounded in science and built on trust.

WELCOME TO MY PRACTICE
Every child has a world of their own, and every family has a different story. That is why, in my examinations, I make a point of listening without rushing, looking at the child as a whole and building a partnership with the family based on trust.
I make sure the child feels safe, can settle into the examination at their own pace, and that we build communication based on trust.
I look not only at the current complaint but at growth, development, nutrition, sleep and the child's overall well-being as a whole.
I listen to parents' concerns and questions, share the process clearly and care about planning the child's health journey together. You can always reach me easily about treatment or any question on your mind.
OUR APPROACH
Every child's journey of growing up, their needs and their world are unique. That is why I look at children as a whole: not only through their illnesses, but through their growth, development, nutrition, and physical and emotional needs. I put the child at the center, see the family as the most valuable part of this journey, and together we move forward with confidence and care.
More about Dr. Beril Arguvanlı

From the newborn period to adolescence, I accompany children on their journey of growth, development and health.
From the newborn period to adolescence, I have prepared a separate guide page for each topic.
I look at the child not only through their illness but also through their development, nutrition, and physical and emotional needs.
How I work
I look at the child as a whole: not only at the complaint they come in with, but at their growth, development, nutrition and emotional needs.
Every child's story and needs are different. I plan follow-up and treatment according to their age, development and individual needs.
I listen to parents' concerns, answer their questions without judgment, and explain the process in plain language so that we can shape decisions together.
Areas of interest
From routine check-ups to vaccinations, from nutrition to developmental follow-up: the topics I address in my practice.
From your baby's very first days, I closely follow their growth, feeding and healthy development.
DetailsBreast milk is the most valuable source of nutrition, tailored to your baby's needs. I support breastfeeding by looking at the needs of mother and baby together.
DetailsEvery child develops at their own pace. I assess growth and motor, language, cognitive and social milestones in a way that suits their age, and follow their development as a whole.
DetailsFrom six months onwards I plan the move to solid foods with you: the order of foods, textures, the number of meals and how to introduce allergenic foods.
DetailsWithout waiting for illness, I follow growth, development and vaccinations at regular intervals, aiming to catch problems before they cause symptoms.
DetailsI plan and give the vaccines in the national schedule as well as optional additional vaccines, and follow together with you that the schedule stays on track.
DetailsI assess sudden-onset conditions such as fever, cough, diarrhoea and rashes, and draw the right line between home care and further investigation.
DetailsFrom poor appetite to weight management, from picky eating to iron deficiency: together we shape your child's nutrition for their age.
DetailsI assess food and respiratory allergies, eczema and recurrent wheezing, and build the daily care plan together with the family.
DetailsFrom sleep training to night waking, together we build a sleep routine that suits your child's age and your family.
DetailsI teach families, hands on, the soothing touch that eases colic and wind, helps babies settle to sleep and builds bonding.
DetailsBetween 10 and 18 I follow the growth spurt, signs of puberty, nutrition and emotional change as a whole.
DetailsCommon questions
The first days after birth are important for the baby's feeding, weight change and jaundice, and for supporting the mother with baby care. The timing of the first check-up is planned according to the baby's gestational age at birth, discharge and needs. My own recommendation is to bring your baby for check-ups on days 3, 5, 7, 15, 21 and 28.
Pediatric check-ups are not only for times of illness. Well-child visits are planned so that growth, development, nutrition and vaccinations are reviewed regularly. Monthly follow-up is recommended in the first year.
No. Alongside the child's current complaint, I care about assessing their growth, development, nutrition, sleep and daily life according to their age and needs.
Along with growth measurements such as length, weight and head circumference, I assess age-appropriate developmental milestones and use developmental assessment tools when needed.
Yes. Readiness for solids, starting foods in the right way, introducing allergens, textures and the move to regular meals are all assessed for each baby individually.
